While deeply rooted in nature, my work largely deals with the relationships created by bringing sometimes seemingly unrelated materials and visual elements together.

Through collage and found-object sculptures, I bring context to the interactions of these various materials and components to bring their story to light.

My multi-panel paintings come together in a similar fashion. Interesting relationships are formed as intuitively created individual elements are brought together. Edits and other elements are introduced to complete the visual dialog.

Similarly, I tend to work in series where each completed piece becomes an element in the larger conversation.
